Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what AgenticBoxes.email ("AgenticBoxes," "we,"
"us" — operated by Brian Becker) collects, how we use it, and your choices.
It applies to the Service and this website.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the human owner email address, your account domain, and account settings.
- Authentication — API keys (stored hashed), and signing secrets for webhooks.
- Email content and metadata — the messages you send and receive through the Service, including sender/recipient addresses, subjects, headers, bodies, and attachments, plus delivery and event records.
- Billing information — credit balance and usage. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical logs — request metadata such as timestamps, IP addresses, and API usage, used for security and operating the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service — deliver, receive, and store your email; manage boxes, domains, and keys.
- To bill for usage and process payments.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and protect sending reputation and deliverability.
- To maintain a tamper-evident audit trail of consequential account actions.
- To provide support and send account-critical notices to the owner email.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your email to advertise to you.
3. Email content specifically
To deliver and let you read your mail, we store messages associated with
your account. Inbound mail is encrypted at rest. Stored message bodies are
retained only as long as needed to operate the read/catch-up path (on the
order of days), while delivery and audit event records are retained longer
to support billing, security, and the audit trail. You can retrieve your
messages through the API at any time while your account is active.
4. How information is shared
- Service providers (subprocessors) — we run on Amazon Web Services (including Amazon SES for mail transport and S3 for storage) and use Stripe for payments. They process data on our behalf to provide the Service.
- Mail recipients — email you send is, by its nature, delivered to the addresses and providers you send it to.
- Legal — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Service.
5. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, key management, per-account
isolation, and signed webhooks. No system is perfectly secure, but we work
to protect your data and limit access to it.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep information while your account is active and as needed for the
purposes above. When you close your account, we make a data export
available, revoke your API keys, and begin removing your data after a grace
period. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or
anti-abuse reasons.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and export your messages through the API while active, and via the closure export when you close the account.
- Request closure and deletion of your account.
- Contact us to ask about the data we hold about you.
8. Cookies and this website
This website uses minimal local browser storage (for example, to remember
your light/dark theme preference). It does not use advertising cookies.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes are reflected by a new effective
date here and, where appropriate, notified to your account.
